And his name is...

Jeremy ZhengFeng Erb!

The girls and I have been debating names since we first saw Zheng Feng's face. He was called Alex by the woman advocating for his adoption, and we loved that name, but my nephew is also named Alex Erb and we thought that would just be too confusing. We tried on others that each of us liked, but none was exactly right. We thought about sound combinations that are not in the Chinese language and therefore might be hard for him. And with every name, I looked at his pictures, watched his video and imagined it as his name for the rest of his life.

He's been Jeremy in my mind for a while now, and now it's his name! My mom can officially start knitting his official Erb family Christmas stocking.
